This part of Buckinghamshire is gentle and rolling and positively brimming with walks, rambles or hikes to suit any style. There's plenty of footpaths right beside the pub that can take you as near or as far as you wish to go - just ask us and we'll recommend a walk or two to suit your needs. However if you really want to take it easy we've also got our own beautiful gardens with some truly stunning views where the only activity needed is watching the swooping red kites.

If you're looking for something a little different, however, we can recommend a few places to visit that are close by or we can organise a few activities to indulge the adventurer in you. Being perfectly positioned in stunning countryside, we can now organise a whole host of activities for our guests from fishing trips and horse-riding to tutored wine tastings and even helicopter rides so come and enjoy the perfect weekend with us.

We look forward to welcoming you.

Places to Visit

Henley
Discover a world of heritage and culture in the beautiful riverside town of Henley-on-Thames. Founded in the 12th century and best known for the annual Royal Regatta, Henley is a treasure trove of historic buildings including the thriving Kenton Theatre, one of the oldest performing theatres in the country. Once you're exhausted with sight-seeing and are looking for a tranquil reprieve from the hustle and bustle of the town, then why not visit one of the many delightful town gardens? Alternatively, just a few strides from the very heart of Henley, you can enjoy a stroll along the Thames and have lunch at one of the riverside pubs and restaurants. To complete your day, take a trip on the river down the regatta course either with one of the commercial boats that operate along this stretch or under your own steam, in a rowing boat!
